Croila Croft is a working croft and pony-trekking centre on the edge of Kingussie, right beside the railway station. The Ormiston family opened the camping and motorhome aire here in 2021. It is deliberately basic: portaloos, water and waste disposal on site, and council showers and toilets a 400m walk away beside the doctor's surgery.
There are 11 hardstanding aire pitches for overnight motorhomes and 5 grass certificated-location pitches. A separate summer-only pop-up field by the River Spey, about 500m away, takes tents, motorhomes and caravans in peak season. Two pubs are 200m away and the village shops and cafes 400m. The farm keeps Highland cattle and ponies, and there is a communal fire and storytelling area.
