- Adults only
Killiwerris is a small adults-only touring park on Kea Downs Road, outside Chacewater. Josie and Steve took it over in 2020 and have been working through it ever since: renewing gravel, giving every pitch its own post for electric, water and waste, thinning trees for more sun and fencing the road side for quiet. All 17 pitches are gravel hardstanding with a patch of grass, and a night's price covers a caravan, campervan or motorhome with awning and two adults.
The shower block is heated with private wet-room cubicles, free hot water, a laundry room with coin-operated machines, and a separate accessible room. Outside there is a dog, boot and wetsuit wash and a secure toilet area for dogs that links to the bridleway. Reception sells eggs, milk, bread and ice cream, there is a self-service tea and coffee corner, and a snooker and darts room by arrangement. Chacewater, under a mile away, has a post office, bakery, chip shop and pub. Bookings go by email or phone rather than an online system, and large rigs should follow the site's directions from the A30, not satnav, because the far end of the lane has a narrow bridge.
