Tehidy is a compact family-run park tucked into a wooded valley between Redruth and the north Cornwall coast, about two miles from Porthtowan beach. The touring and camping fields are laid out in small hedged areas rather than one big open field, and every pitch can take an electric hook-up. There is no clubhouse and no amplified music, so evenings stay quiet.

Beyond the pitches there are timber wigwam cabins that sleep up to five, static holiday caravans from one to three bedrooms, and two- and four-bedroom cottages. The park has a central play area with a trampoline, a games room, a small shop in a former forge, a launderette, free showers and free WiFi. The valley slopes, so wheelchair users may need help reaching some facilities. Pets are not accepted anywhere on the park.
