Family-run 20-acre park near Redruth with serviced tent pitches, statics, a spa lodge and an on-site pub, a short drive from the north coast beaches.

Globe Vale is a family-run park on the edge of Redruth, about a mile off the A30, close to the old Coast to Coast mineral tramway trail. The camping fields are open grass with pitches around the edge and plenty of room in the middle for kids to kick a ball, plus a mix of fully serviced pitches, on grass or all-weather gravel, that take tents as readily as vans. Every pitch has 16-amp electric, and the hardstanding pitches stay open all year, Christmas included.

The park has its own pub and restaurant, The Shaft Inn, a shop in reception, free wifi, a play park and a fenced dog field. Two shower blocks, a launderette, wetsuit wash-down and motorhome service points cover the practical side. If you'd rather not camp there are two- and three-bedroom static caravans, and a lodge for two with a private sauna and spa bath. Portreath and Porthtowan beaches are about four miles away.
