A working-farm campsite at Crosscoombe, a few miles from St Agnes and Perranporth. Pitches run around the edge of one big camping field, which leaves open grass in the middle for games, and a proportion of every pitch type looks out to sea and St Agnes Beacon. Over half the pitches have 16 amp hook-up, on grass or gravel hardstanding.
There is a modern toilet and shower block with a family room, a laundry and a wetsuit wash, plus a separate recreation field with benches and a fenced off-lead dog area over the sea. Trevellas beach is about ten minutes on foot and takes dogs all year.
The rules lean towards quiet: no fires or firepits, no generators, no stag or hen parties, and large groups are discouraged. Sat navs send people down lanes that are too narrow, so follow the site's own directions.
