Kilbroney Caravan Park

Council-run touring park on a hillside in Kilbroney Forest Park, Rostrevor, with views over Carlingford Lough and the Mournes behind.

  • Dogs welcome

Kilbroney Caravan Park sits inside the 97 acres of Kilbroney Park above Rostrevor, with Carlingford Lough below and Slieve Martin rising behind. It is run by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and has 51 serviced pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, plus ten unserviced grass areas for tents only.

The ground slopes, so none of the pitches are level and you will need your own levelling blocks. Because of that there is no charge for awnings, although a number of the pitches are marked unsuitable for them. On site you get a cafe, laundry room, tennis courts, playgrounds, a barbecue area and an outdoor fitness zone, and the Fairy Glen, the Narnia Trail and mountain bike trails start nearby. Open fires and fire pits are banned and generators are not allowed.
