Dogs welcome

Gosfield Lake Resort is a water-ski club and day park on Church Road in Gosfield, run by the Turp family, with a campsite attached. Tents go on a primitive lakeside field with a five minute walk to the toilet and shower block, and the path is unlit, so bring a torch. Caravans, motorhomes and tents wanting a hook-up use a separate field near the church, which is closer to the facilities.

The lake belongs to the ski club, so you can't swim, paddle or put your own boards or kayaks on it. Instead there are booked ski lessons, inflatables and set open-water swimming sessions, and a snack kiosk in summer. Campfires are banned but a fire pit or BBQ is fine if it doesn't scorch the grass. Dogs are welcome on a lead. Two guest rooms in the owners' house, the Annexe, are let by the night.
