Evelyn's Garden sits up on the Ridgeway on Sparsholt Down, a few minutes along the Blowing Stone Hill road from Kingston Lisle. Eight canvas tents look over a hay meadow. Each comes made up with beds and bedding, a woodburner and its own fire pit with griddle, and has an outdoor camp kitchen behind a windbreak.

There is no mains electricity or wifi, so it is properly off grid: compost loos, private hot showers, a shared kitchen shelter with gas hobs and a pizza oven, and a communal fire pit. Four wild pitches take tents and small campervans (not motorhomes or caravans), and the whole site, or just the wild field, can be hired exclusively. A wild sauna and cold plunge is on the same site. Open April to October.

Glamping is priced per tent per night. Wild pitches are priced per pitch, or per person for the small pitch. A 20% booking fee is taken up front and the balance is due 48 hours before arrival, plus a refundable damage deposit of £25 per tent.
