Dunston Hill is a working-farm campsite just outside Haverfordwest, run by Geraint and Natalie. Three acres of grass are laid out in fields edged with traditional dry-stone walls, with picnic benches and plenty of room between units. The beaches and cliffs of St Brides Bay and the Pembrokeshire coast are a short drive away.

The pricing is unusually simple and low: one flat nightly rate covers a car, two adults and two children on a tent or touring pitch, with the same price all season. Dogs stay free. There is a heated shower block with an accessible wet room, a chemical toilet disposal point and a small games room with a pool table. If you would rather not bring a tent, three static caravans are let by the night.

Bookings start with an online request form and payment is taken on arrival. Check the details by phone before travelling, as parts of the website still carry old notes about shared facilities being closed.
