Glamping

Craigmaddie Glamping is a row of six pods on the family land of a brother and sister, reached over a footbridge from a car park. Each has underfloor heating, an en-suite shower room, a small kitchen with hob, microwave and fridge, a TV and free wifi, with bedding and towels supplied. There is no tent pitching here.

It is about two miles from Milngavie, where the West Highland Way begins, and seven miles from central Glasgow, with buses and trains from Milngavie. A stream runs through the grounds so children must stay with an adult. Small dogs are allowed for a fee. There is a communal sauna and seating area, and two electric car chargers for a charge.
