Burrs Country Park is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site of 103 pitches, all hardstanding, on the site of an old cotton mill beside the River Irwell. It is open all year and non-members can book. There is a dedicated dog area, and the toilet block has a family washroom and disabled shower room.

The East Lancashire Railway's Burrs station is about five minutes' walk. Bury's Metrolink tram stop is a short bus ride or a 25 to 45 minute walk, and the tram runs on to Manchester in around half an hour. The country park and river walks start from the site.
