See all 5 photos- Dogs welcome
Bridge Heywood sits on the banks of the River Calder near Read, in the Ribble Valley, within a private estate of about 200 acres. Most of the park is owners' static caravans, but there are touring pitches too: fully serviced tarmac hardstandings with electric and access to the showers included in the nightly price.
The estate has river walks, a newly planted woodland with a circular nature trail, and views of the Martholme Viaduct. Read village is a walk away and has a butcher, a convenience store with a post office, and the Stork Hotel pub about 15 minutes on foot. Clitheroe and the Forest of Bowland are a short drive. Children and dogs are welcome with responsible owners. Booking is by phone or email.
