Beinglas Campsite

Busy West Highland Way campsite at Inverarnan near Loch Lomond with tent fields, campervan hardstandings, hiking huts, chalet rooms and the Stagger Inn.

  • Dogs welcome
  • Glamping

Beinglas sits just off the A82 north of Inverarnan, beside the West Highland Way, and walkers make up much of the trade. There are three camping fields, including a newer quiet field, and a separate hardstanding area for campervans that has no hook-up and no waste disposal. Pitches are allocated on arrival, nothing is held back for late arrivals, and the owners ask everyone to book ahead.

Under cover there are basic and deluxe hiking huts, en-suite chalet rooms with breakfast included, two pre-pitched tent boxes and, in some seasons, furnished bell tents. The site has hot showers, a campers' kitchen, laundry, a drying room and a shop, and the Stagger Inn serves meals and local beer. Dogs are welcome on leads, but charcoal barbecues, fire pits and any open flame are banned. Vehicles must park in the car park, not on the grass.
