Wyreside Lakes is a working fishery and campsite on farmland at Dolphinholme, with the River Wyre running through the grounds and the Bowland Fells behind. Camping is kept apart from the fishing lakes: tents have their own fields, tourers and motorhomes use the top electric field, and small campervans have a lower field by the pod toilets. Six wooden glamping pods look over two of the lakes, and there is one static caravan for hire.

The site has several toilet and shower blocks with free showers, a locked accessible and baby-changing room (ask at reception for the key), a launderette, a shop, a play area and a bar and restaurant that run at weekends. Open fires and disposable barbecues are banned, but raised barbecues and supervised chimineas are fine. It is a family and couples site: no single-sex groups, no stag or hen parties, and guests must be over 21 unless with parents.
