See all 10 photos- Dogs welcome
Claylands is run by the Robinson family at Cabus, a few miles south of Garstang on the edge of the Wyre Valley. Touring pitches are all hardstanding and most are fully serviced with room for an awning. Tents go in a separate field, where a number of pitches have electric hook-ups, and the toilet block is a couple of minutes' walk away.
The park has a 24-hour shower and toilet block that is free to use, free wifi, a laundry and washing-up area, and an adventure playground. Four coarse fishing ponds sit on the park, and Stepping Stones, the on-site riverside bar and restaurant, serves food from noon to 8pm Tuesday to Sunday. Part of the park is given over to static holiday homes, lodges and a couple of cottages, so it is a bigger, busier place than a farm field. Continental-style caravans are not accepted on the touring pitches, and open fires and ground-level barbecues are banned.
