Greaves Farm Caravan and Camping

Small family-run canalside caravan site and camping field on the Lancaster Canal near Garstang, open late March to October.

See all 3 photos
  • Dogs welcome

Greaves Farm has been taking caravans since the 1980s, run by the Houghton family on land beside the Lancaster Canal at Cabus. The canal towpath runs right alongside the weekend hardstandings, which have 10-amp hook-ups and amenity buildings close by, and there are views across the fields to Nicky Nook and the Bowland fells.

Beyond the weekend and summer-season caravan pitches there is a large mown rally field with four hook-ups, water taps, an Elsan point and a function room for hire, plus a grass camping area with a campers' kitchen and toilet block. Garstang is about three miles away. Prices are not published: ring the number on the website, where the reception is staffed in the morning.
