Willowbank is a calm holiday home park on Coastal Road in Ainsdale, with a touring area for caravans, motorhomes and rooftop tents. The holiday homes are privately owned and not let out, and owners must be 45 or over, so it is a relaxed place rather than a lively one.
Every touring pitch has an unmetered electric hook-up, on grass, hardstanding or grass-on-a-base. The site has a motorhome service area, clean shower and toilet blocks, a laundry, a small play area and free wifi. A firm-surfaced dog walk runs round the park, and there is a cafe on site.
Ainsdale's pine woods, beach and cycle paths are close, and Southport, with shops, rail and an air show in September, is a short drive. Tents are not allowed.
