Westgate is a small, gated park on the edge of Morecambe, mostly privately owned holiday homes, with a separate touring area of 16 concrete hardstanding pitches ringed by grass. Each has a 16 amp hook-up, and a toilet and shower block, accessible toilet, washing-up area and chemical disposal point sit alongside. It is for caravans and motorhomes only: tents and large awnings are not accepted, and small porch awnings are the limit.

Four of the park's own four-berth caravans are let by the week from Saturday to Saturday between March and October, with gas and electric included and basic bedding provided. One or two of them take dogs. There is a licensed shop, a launderette and a small play area for under-12s, and buses to Morecambe, Heysham and Lancaster stop outside the gate. The promenade is about a 15-minute walk.
