Treloan sits on gently sloping fields above Gerrans Bay, with the South West Coast Path running along the edge and Gerrans village about 300 yards up the lane. Arthur's Field is the main one and stays open all year: a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches, most with electric, taking tents, caravans, trailer tents and motorhomes. Summer Field is flat, tents and small campervans only, and opens for May half term and the six-week summer holidays.

The owners keep a few chickens, sheep and guinea pigs that children can help feed, and there are braziers to borrow if you buy their logs. Two small coves below the site are a bit of a scramble down; a pushchair-friendly beach is a little further along. Coast Path walkers can turn up without booking for a reduced one-night rate. The site also has mobile homes to rent all year, and a three-bedroom bungalow, Fairview, in Gerrans village.
