Higher Kestle is a family-run touring and camping site on a 300-acre working farm in the lanes above Mevagissey. The main touring field is a level 1.75 acres with marked pitches, some with 10-amp hook-ups and some hardstanding, and in high summer a second field opens for tents only.

There is a new shower and toilet block, a sheltered washing-up area, a freezer for ice packs, water points, chemical disposal and free wifi. A wooded walk from the site leads to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Mevagissey harbour is a short drive. Dogs are welcome (two per pitch, on leads), open fires are not allowed, and the access lane is narrow so large caravans should follow the directions on the site's website.
