Carlyon Bay is a 30-acre touring park of meadow and woodland on Cornwall's south coast, between Fowey and Charlestown. Every pitch has a 10 amp electric hook-up, and the pitches are big, averaging roughly 11 to 13m across. You can choose all-grass, grass with a front or central hardstanding, or a serviced pitch with its own water point and grey waste drain. Tents are welcome on the grass pitches, but you will need a power pack if your tent has no built-in electrics.

The park runs a quiet, family-minded regime: no bar or clubhouse, a 5mph limit and no noise after 11pm. There are heated outdoor pools (open from the end of the May half term to mid September), two playgrounds, crazy golf, table tennis, a licensed shop, a launderette and free wifi on most of the site. The beach is about ten minutes' walk, dogs are allowed on it, and the Britannia Inn is a short stroll. Bookings are for couples and families only, and 2026 is over for the season: the park reopens on 30 April 2027.

The tariff table on the prices page is empty while the park is closed for the season (it reads 'Nothing To Show'); 2027 booking opens in early November 2026. Basic pitch price covers 2 people and a car plus tent, caravan or motorhome. Columns on the site: grass, central hardstanding, large hardstanding, water and grey waste, water and grey waste hardstanding; extras: extra adult 16+, child 3-15 (under 3s free), full size awning, gazebo or pup tent (max 2), dog (max 2), extra car/boat/large vehicle (max 2). Reduced rates for unbooked hikers and cyclists; ask about rally rates for 10+ units.
