Family-run four-acre caravan and camping field by the River Yare, seven miles from Norwich, open all year with a heated toilet block.

Swans Harbour is a four-acre level grass site beside the upper River Yare near Barford, about seven miles from Norwich and four from Wymondham. It has been run by the same family since 1978. Pitches are large, all have electric hook-ups, and a hard road runs round the site with some hardstanding available. There is an ornamental pond, a play area big enough for ball games and drinking water taps around the field.
The toilet building is under-floor heated and open through the winter, with showers that have their own dressing space, hairdryers and shaver points. There is also a washing machine and dryer, a microwave and fridge freezer, a washing-up bay and an information room. Dogs are welcome on a lead, and bookings are taken by phone. It makes a cheap base for Norwich, the Broads and the north Norfolk coast.
