Baconsthorpe Meadows is a seven-acre tents-only site on a working farm in north Norfolk, about three miles from Holt and fifteen minutes from Sheringham. There is room for 63 tents on grass, with a handful of electric hook-ups, and no caravans, motorhomes or campervans are accepted. The ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle are a short walk away.

Six camping pods, three in the orchard and three on the main field, sleep two and come with a bed, fridge, kettle, toaster and heater. The site has eight toilets and eight showers, a laundry, freezer for ice blocks, a playground and a small shop at reception. Campfires are fine in a raised fire pit you can borrow, logs are sold on site, and one field is set aside for guests with dogs.
