You can walk the riverbank to How Hill and St Benet's Abbey, and the villages of Horning, Ludham and Potter Heigham are close. The Club sells a guide to local cycle routes at reception, and bikes can be hired through an app. Great Yarmouth is about 15 miles away and Norwich a longer drive.

On site there is a playground, laundry and dog walk. The nearest supermarket is in Wroxham about 5.5 miles away, with a mini-market at Ludham Bridge Stores.
