The campsite sits in the grounds of the Goat Inn, a thatched 16th-century pub in Skeyton, between Aylsham and North Walsham. Around seven acres of grass are ringed by trees, with room for the kids to run about. There are five hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorhomes, plus grass pitches for tents, a few of them with electric.
A shower block has toilets, showers and a washing-up area, and there is an outside tap for drinking water. You book in at the pub, so aim to arrive while it is open. Food is served there most of the day if you do not fancy cooking.
It is open all year with one price for the pitch, which covers two adults and two children. Dogs are welcome on a lead. The Broads, Wroxham and the coast are all within a short drive.
