The toilets and showers have been refurbished, and there is a laundry room, free wifi and a washing-up area. Reception sells basics, breakfast items, ice cream and a small range of beer and wine, and has local information and a book exchange. Dunstanburgh Castle and Craster are within walking distance, and the Cottage Inn at Dunstan is a short stroll away. Dogs are welcome on short leads, but a strict no-ball-games rule applies on site.
