Proctors Park

Open-all-year riverside and lakeside park at Barrow upon Soar with tent and tourer pitches, fishing, moorings and a club house bar, two minutes from the village.

  • Dogs welcome

Proctors Park is a large site on the edge of Barrow upon Soar, beside the River Soar and its own lakes. The pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes take electric hook-ups and some are hardstanding, and the more adventurous can pitch around the lake or by the river, further from the services. It is open all year, and the village centre, with shops, pubs, takeaways, a small supermarket and a railway station, is a two to three minute walk from the gate.

The toilets and showers are basic and cleaned often. The park also has static caravans and seasonal tourer pitches, boat moorings with water and electric, and river and lake fishing on day tickets. A licensed club house at the weekend has a bar, pool, darts and quizzes. You can bring a canoe, kayak or small boat. Barbecues are fine if raised off the grass. Book online or call the office.
