Fair Farm Hideaway is ten shepherd huts spread around two old coarse fishing lakes on a working family farm at the edge of Waltham on the Wolds, a few miles from Melton Mowbray. Four huts are down by the water and the rest sit higher up with views over the lakes and fields. Each sleeps two in a double bed, with an ensuite shower, a small kitchen with hob, microwave and coffee machine, a decked terrace and a wood-fired hot tub with wood and kindling included.

It is an adults-only site with a two-night minimum. Five huts take dogs for a daily fee, and guests can fish the lakes for a small day-ticket price if they bring their own gear and licence. Fire pits can be hired for the stay. Check-in is self-service from 3pm, with no meet and greet, and the nearest shop is a 15 to 20 minute walk away in the village, where the pub serves meals.
