Fortway Farm is a small touring site opened in 2019 on the edge of Stoney Stanton, taking tents, trailer tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans. The field has a gentle slope, with a mix of grass and hardstanding and a limited number of metered 16 amp electric hook-ups. There are three fresh water taps, a chemical disposal point, men's and women's toilets with hot water, free family shower rooms and a washing-up area.
A horseshoe-shaped lake on site is stocked with carp, roach, bream, tench and perch, with a small day ticket charge. The village has a shop, a cafe and pubs about 15 minutes' walk across a field, and Stoney Cove diving lake is a short walk away. It is a quiet, mostly adult crowd with plenty of regulars. Booking is by online enquiry form only, not by phone, and the site closes for the winter.
