Pen-y-Llyn is a four-acre adults-only park near Llanfair-yn-Neubwll, a short drive from Holyhead's ferry port and about a 20 to 30 minute walk from Cymyran Beach. Every pitch is fully serviced with electric hook-up, a water tap and a drain, and pitches are separated by hedging and shrubs, most facing south-east to south-west towards the Snowdonia hills. There are four types, from small hardstandings for campervans to hedged premier plots with a paved patio and 16 amp power.

Facilities are a good step up from basic: individual private shower cubicles, six single toilet cubicles across three blocks, a semi-indoor washing-up area, two washing machines, an ice machine and an honesty shop with eggs from the site's hens. Dogs are welcome with a warm wash trough and a perimeter dog walk. RAF Valley is next door, so expect jets on weekdays between 8am and 6pm. No tents, no barbecues or fires, and no day visitors.
