Morawelon has taken campers since the early 1920s and sits right on the quay at Parrog, a ten-minute walk from Newport. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs along the quay wall beside the site and the beach is a couple of minutes away, with Carn Ingli rising behind.

Most of the space is for tents (about 85 pitches), with around eight caravan and eight motorhome pitches, some with hook-up. Showers and hairdryers are coin-operated, there is a covered washing-up area, chemical disposal and a free rinse-off shower. A takeaway and licensed cafe runs on site, and there is also a holiday bungalow that sleeps eight to ten. Dogs are welcome on leads.
