Kingsdown Camping covers 35 acres of grass and woodland on the White Cliffs, with views over the sea and a footpath to Kingsdown's shingle beach in about five minutes. The village shops and three pubs that serve food are a 5 to 10 minute walk. Deal is a five minute drive and Dover's ferry port about twenty.

Most pitches are unallocated and you pay per person rather than per pitch. A limited number of electric hook-up pitches take tents, campervans, small motorhomes and caravans up to 6.5m. On site there is a shop, a coffee horsebox, Sam's Bar in high season, and fire baskets and logs to buy. Dogs, generators and day visitors are not allowed and the site is firm about noise after 10pm. Indoor cabins are bookable all year.
