Coxhill Camping is a quiet site on a working arable farm just off the A2 at Shepherdswell, around ten minutes' drive from the Dover ferry port and Canterbury. There is a pub and a railway station in the village a short walk away, with London about an hour by train.

The main Top Field is grass with no hook-ups, and pitches are well spread out; you choose your own spot. A separate area called the Menage has 10 gravelled electric pitches. Facilities are basic but kept clean: flushing toilets, free hot showers, drinking water taps, washing-up stations and chemical disposal.

Dogs, cars and gazebos cost nothing extra. Campfires are welcome on the Top Field in raised firepits, which can be hired along with logs from a shack on site. Music and generators are banned, and the gates shut at 10pm, with a separate late-arrival area.
