Haywood Farm Caravan and Camping Park

Family-run park on the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire border with grass and gravel pitches, a pizza shop, games room and woodland walks from the gate.

See all 13 photos
  • Dogs welcome

Haywood Farm sits in Gorsley, between Ross-on-Wye and the Forest of Dean, with pitches spread over several fields. You can choose grass or gravel hardstanding, with or without electric, and awnings are included on the hardstanding pitches. Campervans, trailer tents, rooftop tents and caravans are all catered for.

On site there is a small shop with stone-baked pizzas in the evening, a games room with table football, pool and air hockey, a children's play area and a football pitch. Individual showers were refurbished recently, and there is an accessible shower room with baby changing. Dymock Woods and Queens Wood are reachable on foot, and dogs can run off lead in the woods.

There are no campfires or fire pits (to protect the woodland), though raised BBQs are fine. Mobile signal is patchy and there is no wifi. Two holiday homes are also on the site: a one-bed cottage for two and a four-bedroom barn conversion for eight.
