Freshwater Beach sits by the sea at Burton Bradstock on the Jurassic Coast, west of Weymouth. It is a full-on family park rather than a quiet field: indoor and outdoor pools, a ten-pin bowling alley, a bar with a restaurant, a shop and an entertainment programme.

Touring and camping pitches come in grass and hardstanding, both with electric hook-up, water and wifi, and the park says they take tents, caravans and campervans up to 7m. Pitches are around 10m by 10m. There is also a fleet of rental caravans, some of them pet-friendly and one wheelchair accessible.

Pool, gym and evening entertainment are free to overnight guests. Daytime entertainment runs daily from May to September, and evenings run every weekend in low season and nightly in school holidays.
