Litton Lakes is a small campsite in a valley near Litton Cheney, built around an activity lake with a cafe beside the water. Pitches are large, flat and spaced at least three metres apart, and you park next to your tent. The warden shows you where to pitch on arrival. Because the site has few pitches it rarely feels busy.
A new solar-powered shower block has six showers and six toilets, with a second block in the barn, and there are water taps, chemical and grey waste points and fire pits to hire. Dogs are welcome on leads, with a big off-lead field behind the lake. Campers get a wristband for the lake, which has paddleboard hire. Bell tents are available too, supplied empty. The coast around Burton Bradstock is about ten minutes away.
