Exeter Racecourse Club Campsite
Caravan and Motorhome Club touring site on heathland at the top of Haldon Hill, next to Haldon Forest and handy for Exeter.
See all 7 photos- Dogs welcome
Exeter Racecourse is the Club's site on the heather and gorse of Haldon Hill, above Exeter and Teignmouth. It has 103 touring pitches and 10 tent pitches, 18 of them hardstanding, and is open to non-members. Many people use it as a stopover; some stay longer.
Haldon Forest, with its walking and mountain-bike trails, is right beside the site, and a 2-mile road circuit runs round the racecourse. Chudleigh has the nearest small shops, Exeter is a short drive, and Dartmoor is close. Arrivals are allowed on race days, though there may be a short wait while a race runs.

- Heathland setting with long views
- Non-electric economy pitches offered at a lower price
- Green Tourism Gold award
