Embers Henley is a tents-only field right beside the Thames on the Marlow Road, about a 20-minute riverside walk from Henley. You pitch on grass or hire a pre-pitched bell tent, and the car stays in a car park once you have unloaded, so the field is traffic-free.

There is an on-site cafe and bar with coffee, ice cream and toasties, plus stone-fired pizza you pre-order a couple of weeks ahead. Paddleboards can be hired by the hour. Expect festival noise from Henley's summer events.

Embers is a small group of campsites run by one company. No dogs, caravans, motorhomes or vehicle-mounted tents are allowed.

Camping is charged per person per night and covers parking and use of the facilities. Children pay £10 a night Friday to Sunday and £8 Monday to Thursday. Bell tent prices are per tent per night on top of the per-person fee, plus a £4.50 booking fee per pitch. Online booking only.
