Scotlands House Campsite
Quiet two-and-a-half-acre field near Bracknell with electric hook-ups but no toilets or showers: bring your own loo. Dogs welcome; Legoland 15 minutes away.
- Dogs welcome
- Campfires
Scotlands House is a flat, fully fenced field down a private lane off Forest Road at Newell Green, backing onto a cricket ground and a children's play park. Pitches run round the edge so the middle stays free for games, and the owners describe it as a peaceful place rather than a lively one.
There are no toilet or shower blocks. You need your own toilet for the stay (camping toilets can be hired), and there is a water supply, electric hook-ups and an Elsan point. Four pubs and restaurants are a five-minute walk across the road, and Windsor's Legoland is about 15 minutes by car.
Grass pitches can be too wet to use in April and October, so bookings in those months depend on the weather. The lane is narrow and the gateway tight, though most caravans and motorhomes up to about 9m get in without trouble.
- Electric hook-ups on a quiet, enclosed field
- Four pubs and restaurants within five minutes' walk
- About 15 minutes from Legoland
- Dogs welcome
- Firepit hire with wood included
