Car-free, off-grid woodland camping near the Norfolk coast with about 30 private pitches, fire baskets and a set of WW1 trenches to explore.

- Campfires
Dreamy Hollow is 7.5 acres of oak and silver birch woodland at Stanhoe in north-west Norfolk, a short drive from the coast. There are about thirty named pitches of very different sizes and shade, mostly for tents, with two for campervans. Cars stay in the car park and wheelbarrows are provided to take kit through the trees, so it is quiet and dark at night. There is no electric on the pitches and phone signal is weak.
Facilities are basic: five flushing toilets, two hot showers, a chemical disposal point, cold-water washing-up sinks and drinking water taps, plus a small shop selling ice cream, drinks and firewood. Campfires are only allowed in the fire baskets on your pitch, using wood bought on site, and amplified music is banned. Dogs are free (two per booking) on leads. The camp includes a reconstructed WW1 trench network, with a replica officers' bunker you can sleep in and guided tours of the trenches available by booking.
