Mill Farm is a family-run working farm on the edge of Wells-next-the-Sea in north Norfolk. It is a short walk to the town, the quay and the coastal path, and the pine woods and beach are close. There are horses, dogs, farm cats and the odd goat or sheep on site, and the owners are upfront that this is a farm first, with tractor noise and farmyard smells to match.

The tent field is deliberately basic: 18 pitches of mixed sizes, ten with 10-amp hook-up, plus a washing-up shed with fridge and freezer, two timer showers on the main yard and fire pits to hire. Caravans are not allowed in the tent field. Tourers use The Drift, a newer field of 12m x 16m pitches, each with hardstanding, grass, a 16-amp hook-up and a view over Wells harbour towards Holkham Bay.

The farm also lets a four-berth static caravan called The Hideout, runs a bell tent called Owls Corner through the Norfolk Tent Company, and takes horse owners with paddocks, stables and a wash bay. Dogs are welcome on leads at no charge. There are no Sunday arrivals.
