See all 9 photos
  • Dogs welcome

Dornafield is the Caravan and Motorhome Club's site in a sheltered valley just outside Newton Abbot, on the edge of Dartmoor. Almost all of its 155 pitches are hardstanding, and non-members are welcome. A historic farmhouse sits on the grounds.

Families get a play area, a games room with table tennis and a pool table, and a ball-games area. Ipplepen has a Co-op about half a mile away, Torbay is a short drive and the moor is the other way. The lanes to the site are narrow and the Club asks you not to use sat nav, so follow its written directions.
