Calloose is a family-run holiday park on the edge of Leedstown, a few miles inland from Hayle and about ten to fifteen minutes by car from four different beaches. Touring and camping pitches all have electric hook-up: serviced gravel hardstandings (some fenced and private), 8m grass touring pitches and grass tent pitches in standard or larger sizes. The park also lets lodges, static holiday homes and a separate hamlet of sauna-and-hot-tub lodges, many with enclosed gardens.
The on-site list is long for a park this size: a heated outdoor pool from mid May to September, a bar and restaurant with an orangery, a shop, laundrette, arcade, multi-sports court, adventure playground and a nature trail. Dogs are welcome in every kind of accommodation, and there is a secure one-acre dog field with a stream and pond. Prices are only shown in the online booking system.
