Beachside sits in the dunes at the Hayle end of St Ives Bay, with a footpath straight onto the sand towards Gwithian. It has been run by the same family for over 60 years and is mostly a self-catering park, with lodges, apartments, bungalows and chalets alongside a field of grass pitches. All touring pitches have electric, and the park drains well because it stands on sand. Choose a standard pitch for a tent, caravan or motorhome up to 4m x 7m, a larger pitch up to 5m x 9m for a bigger tent, or a serviced pitch with water, grey-waste drain, TV point and wifi.

The pool and shop open in early May and run to late September. There is also a restaurant and bar, a summer dune bar, a games room, an adventure playground, an under-5s soft play and a surf school on the beach. Up to two dogs are allowed on some pitches and in some of the accommodation, with a dog exercise area at the top of the park. In school holidays pitches book Saturday to Saturday; outside those you can book part weeks online.
