Aberafon sits at the foot of Gyrn Goch on the A499 between Caernarfon and Pwllheli, in 15 acres of valley grounds, five of them given over to sheltered, level camping pitches. The site backs on to a private beach that is safe for swimming and has a slipway for launching small boats.
The toilet block has showers and shaving points, and there are water points, electric hook-ups, chemical disposal, laundry and dishwashing. Pricing is per person per night with electricity, dogs and boats as add-ons. There is also a three-bedroom cottage on the grounds that lets by the week, and seasonal caravan pitches by arrangement. Open from Easter to September.
