Parc Wernol

Parc Wernol is a hilltop caravan park and working farm one mile outside Chwilog, roughly halfway between Pwllheli and Criccieth. The land looks over Cardigan Bay to Abersoch and the Snowdonia range, and the Jones family has run it for over 40 years alongside a pedigree cattle and sheep farm.

Most of the park is privately owned holiday caravans, which are sold rather than let. Visitors can book three cottages instead: Daflod, a one-bedroom cottage for two, and Siambr and Deri, both two-bedroom for four. Siambr has a ground-floor bedroom and wet room suited to wheelchair users. All have full kitchens, biomass heating, and linen and towels included, and dogs are welcome in them for a fee.

On site there is a multi-sport court, a play area with swings and a sandpit, a laundry, free Wi-Fi and a field for exercising dogs. A footpath leads to a private lake used for fishing and picnics, and the Lon Eifion cycle path is three miles away. The park is open from March to mid-January.
