Ty Rhos Farm

Ty Rhos is a small, family-run farm site about a mile outside New Quay, a twenty-minute walk from the town and a short walk from the Ceredigion Coast Path. It is a Camping and Caravanning Club certificated site: five hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up for motorhomes and tourers, and a two-acre field for up to 15 tents, with three more hook-ups available.

Each hardstanding is 3m by 6m with a matching strip of grass beside it. The washing facilities are modest: two shower blocks with two showers and three toilets in total, a washing-up area, a chemical disposal point and two drinking water taps. Many pitches look out over the countryside and towards Cardigan Bay. Freezer packs and battery charging can be arranged on request.

You can also rent a small insulated camping pod for up to four, with bunks, two sockets and a TV, or a three-bedroom static caravan sleeping eight with gas and electricity included. The caravan takes well-behaved dogs and is let year round, by the week from Sunday or for short breaks of at least three nights. Caravans and motorhomes should come in via Synod Inn, as the roads from Llanarth are tight.
