Dogs welcome

Moody Meadows, the former Bargoed Farm Caravan Park, sits on the Cardigan Bay coast between Aberaeron and New Quay. The touring field is level and tree-lined, and every one of the 93 pitches is gravel hardstanding with 16 amp electric, a water tap, grey water drain and a patch of lawn. There are no grass pitches, so tent campers need rock pegs and a tough groundsheet. Forty pitches come with a private hot tub, some with lake views, and there is an adults-only area.

Beyond the pitches the farm lets five hot tub lodges beside the lake, eleven en-suite rooms in the Moo-Tel and a ten-bed farmhouse. On the farm are a bistro, farm shop, indoor play barn and trampoline park. The shower block has a dog wash, a washing machine and an accessible wet room, and a footpath runs to Llwyncelyn village and the Wales Coast Path. The park is open all year.
