A rewilding project under the Black Mountain near Llanddeusant, in the dark sky reserve at the western end of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Wild camping areas by the lake and in the woods suit small tents, hammocks and bivvies you can carry in; larger tents and families use the Glade Field, which the farm's two donkeys share.

Facilities are basic: a lakeside hut with two toilets, a shower and a washing-up station, plus compost toilets in the woodland, spring water and fire pits with grills and log seats. There is no electric hookup, mobile signal is poor, and the nearest shops are a fifteen-minute drive away. Two riverside safari tents are available April to October, and two gravel pitches take small campervans. Rubbish goes home with you.
