Cosmos Camping is a small meadow-style field at Gwynfe, on the western side of Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons), just off the mountain road best known from Top Gear. It has 12 spacious tent pitches with Black Mountain views, each with its own firepit. The field is car-free, with parking close by.

Only people aged 16 and over can stay. Two separate spaces are set aside for roof tents and small campervans up to 6m; motorhomes and caravans are not taken.

A refurbished toilet and shower block has hairdryers and unisex lockable cubicles, plus a kitchen with fridge-freezer, microwave and free tea and coffee. There is free wifi, a licensed bar and outdoor cafe, and food trucks visit. The dark skies are the draw on clear nights. Dogs are welcome on pitches but not in the main facilities.
